Lowered springs.

To better phrase my previous question, who has the lowered/uprated springs on their TR6 and what do they think of them?
Thanks.

I have a set of Moss "race springs" I love them. No more squat but you will get to know the quality of the roads intimately.

I have Goodparts stuff all round.
Like it.
Much much firmer than stock though

I used the competition springs from BPNW which lowered me almost one inch. No problems. Didn't even alter my 4-wheel alignment, as checked by a good alignment shop. Ride is slightly firmer but I also have Koni on the front and Spax on the back, both tweaked to a slightly firmer ride.

Goodparts. Love them...even better since I installed the tubular shock setup. I don't scrap nearly as much as before. I would suggest installing the upgraded swaybars which must go front and rear.
How much more money do you want to spend?
If ground clearance is an issue, Richard Good also sells spacers to raise things back up.

Did any of you need to use zero rate (sometimes called cheater springs) to pickup the slack in the suspension?
Sometimes when you use lower springs, the spring wobbles around in the perches when the suspension travels down all the way, or when you jack up the car.
Just curious, I was thinking of buying some for my GT6 when I get all the pieces back together.

Thanks

Mikey

Goodparts Springs here also, with Koni Reds all the way around and GP's front and rear swaybars. Handles very nicely with a smooth ride, not stock soft but defiently not jaring or harsh.
