So this is how I got my car to look, which is about perfect for what I was after.
The front springs are spridgetmania springs, bumping up to 340lb spring rate and lowering about 11/4", and the rear is stock springs with wedges from petermayengineering.co.uk in England. Which by the way is a great company to work with!

Are you worried about hitting the bump stops.

Looks nice, but it's about the same height as a big Healey.

Better watch out for those speed bumps!!

That looks really nice, is the concrete under it high in the center?
It looks like there's a high spot where the two pieces of pavement meet, making the car look even lower to the ground.

Ya, the concrete is bucked to a peak under the car,so its not as low as it seems. I tried it out on some brutal speed bumps, and have plenty of clearance and no tire rub issues. As for the bump stops, it looks to have plenty of travel still. I took it out last night and flogged it pretty hard on some crappy roads and all was well.
