you guys are always so much help to me I hate to bother you with this question. I am mostly finished with the metal and body work on my 59 BN4 and just removed the panels and put the scuttle back on the rotisserie for final prep, sealing and then paint (if the weather gets warm enough............waiting). I realized that I was clamping the lower wings and had not drilled a new attachment hole for each. Does anyone have (or know where i can find) the hole locations on the scuttle?? And what is the hole size? I would like to drill them prior to painting and once I get the mechanics finished and put the panels back on I can align and drill those holes later. Making progress..............

Thanks in advance!!

Doug

The hole diameter is 1/4" (well, for a 1/4 x 28 bolt, nut and washers, so even 1/64" oversized might be a safe bet) and they're spaced, from the wheel opening, at 3-3/4", 11-1/2" and 22". Again, that is from the primary wheel opening, not the leading edge of the flange itself. However, the right side of the same car (BN6L-942) has the holes at 3-3/4", 10-1/2" and 22", leading me to believe the holes were more or less randomly drilled.
