TR2/3/3A Lower control arm question

I am painting and inspecting the parts of the suspension. I have found on the lower a arm that the brass bushing is worn through to the metal casting. This is on the end that connects to the trunnions. It does not look like the metal is elongated but how do you install a new bushing and then do you need to punch a hole through so the zerk grease fitting will work??

The bushing comes with the hole in it. So you just need to press the new one into place--accurately! Protect your metal casting by getting those bushings replaced.

I use a bench vise to press them into place take it slow and easy.

The bushing should probably be replaced as a part of the rebuild. The new bushings will have the grease hole, it just needs to be lined up. The bushings come undersize, so they need to be reemed to 5/8" after being pressed in. You can either buy a reemer for around $50 on eBay, or have pretty much any machine shop do it for you for about the same.
