Drove to Belleville (my home town) and preached and and co-presided over the ordination of a young man who i have known all his life. His parents & I were in youth group together. He was born with Cerebral Palsy (relatively mild in that he walks with a limp) he is the most determined young man I know - and is also in the early days of training to perhaps end up in the special olympics as a sailer. All in all a truly blessed day! The only downside was it was stinkin' hot with no AC in the church.

oh, and some lbcs spotted too - in the spotted forum.

One of the most positive human experiences you can have - a young person close to you is growing, leaping over obstacles, and succeeding. That is a *great* feeling.
