My first car as a teenager was a 55 TR2 in 1966. Now am the proud caretaker of TS1, the first Triumph sportscar, meticulously restored by legendary Joe Richards who I consider a dear friend. Trying my best to take good care of her but it will always be associated with Joe and his attention to authenticity.

Phil, is it? Anyway, welcome back to the asylum! Joe's restoration of TS1 is truly a legend, I'm glad to hear it's in good hands.

I understand you've got quite a stable of other LBCs; photos of any of them would be welcome here.

I will get my IT guy at work to help me post pictures. I know there are ways to do it but my MB's far exceed the required. I bought the TS1 a year and a half ago. Showed in NC this summer at the TRA meeting and got to meet and spend time with Joe and his wife Doty (Dotty?). We had TS1 shipped to Ohio where it is undergoing another restoration that should keep it going for a long time to come. Joe is about 30 miles away and checks up on it occasionally.

Hi There Phil,

"Welcome" to the BCF. "THEE" best LBC site on any planet but I feel you already know that.

I`m the guy in SC who you were kind enough to send the Tee Shirt to, Remember? "Russ" who was restoring a `57 Small Mouth. I have to send you a PM or Email again!!

If you have`nt as of yet introduced Yourself & TS1 to the Triumph Forum; By all means do. The nice folks there would love to hear from you. You may get flooded with requests for pics so be ready!!

Best Regards,

Russ

One easy way is to create a free account at https://www.photobucket.com. You can upload your photos there, the upload process will automagically resize them if necessary, and then post links here. If you copy the "IMG thumb code" into a post, folks will see a thumbnail that they can click on for the full page photo. The image won't show up while you are editing, but it will when you make the post.

For example:
