Hi,

Does anyone know if the master clutch cylinder and the slave clutch cylinder is same as the one's fitted on Ford Cortina GT Mk 1 ?

Thanks

I have both cars and have used the Lotus cyl's on the Cortina.. they are the same bore but the rods were the wrong length ( easy to switch )The slave cyl on the newer Cortina's and Escorts is physically larger and will not fit the bellhousing.

The Brake Mcyl is not the same.. the MK1 being a smaller bore and reservior.. But the Lotus cyl fit on the Cortina just fine, and gives a little less pedal effort..

Oh and I just love your forum name!
