Today, on a trailer, eastbound on I-24, near Murfreesboro, Tenn., around 9:30 am. Traditional green and yellow paint.

I'm semi-looking for one myself. A clone/Locost might work if it was real nice. So far, all the ones I've looked at are stupid-money.

There are lots of Seven's here in Calgary, not many of them are the actual Lotus versions... There is a Birkin Seven, Westfield Seven, two Caterham Sevens I've seen, etc... Actually I haven't seen a Lotus Seven here in several years...

Talking to some of the owners of these cars, they had to find tricky ways to bring in their cars, one guy brought his fully complete car into Canada as a Ford Pinto, others brought them in as parts cars... You get the idea...

Yes, I know there are "ways". :friendly_wink: MANY of the newer, imported Lotus 7s (or clones) have been brought into the USA in some sort of surreptitious manner (including as "parts" and then re-assembled). I'm looking to buy one that is fully legal with appropriate documentation (and that is not priced as if it were gold). No rush.....I'm working away on this.
