Saw some nice ones ~Last Weekend~

Most were Type 51 Lawn Darts, but also a nice 11 and 6 (both with Cov. Climax mills).

The gal with the 6 is a good driver and I had a great dice with her.

Good point.

In that picture, they mostly look like the squarish 61 model (except maybe for the last one).
I know there were a number of 51s there (I was looking at the T&S sheets and saw a lot listed).

To be honest, I don't know much about these little lawn darts.

LOL! *I* wasn't using it at all! Linda was.

*That's* why the pictures look better. :jester:

It's a Nikon D40 digital SLR camera with the standard 18-55 Nikkor lens. You can find them for well under $350 these days.
We'd like to get the 55-200 zoom lens (and a mono-pod) for next year.

A lot of my previous snaps were taken with a Sony CyberShot DSC-F717 or my very limited Pentax digital EI-100. The Sony was a decent but heavy, clunky camera that was "assigned" to me at work (so I could use it to do web promos for our school). It took nice shots but since it wasn't really mine, I bought the Nikon in early '08. I still have the Pentax, but it's hardly better than my cell phone.

Most of my digital shots are cropped or enhanced using "Gimp 2", a free, downloadable software similar to Adobe Photoshop Elements.
