TR6 lost body shell

A founding member of the WV British Car Club has lost the bodyshell from the 73 he is building for his wife. The shell was transported to the Dayton Ohio area and went missing from the Melvin Ward sandblaster at 62 Quick Rd in New Carlisle, Ohio. It probably disappeared sometime last summer? Our member thought the body man who sent it to the sandblaster had everything under control, but alas. Ward says the body man picked it up, but we know he didn't. Legal steps were not take to seize the shell for payment or anything... anyway, it is a 73, was originally purple, has a dent in a rocker from a jack, has partial floorpans welded in and had a body shell tag number 8267. I feel like the Triumph community is small enough, and close enough that someone knows. Please help. Alternatively, lines on a replacement shell. Thanks

My guess is that it was scrapped out by metal thieves. Your friend will need to file a claim
with his insurance to make good this loss.
