One of EMRA's best and most likeable Time Trialers ever passed away a few days ago.
Soren Birch was a long-time EMRA member and champion in his class (driving his #63 VW Jetta). He won his TT class four years running.
We saw him running an event earlier this year and most of us had no idea he was even ill. He was only a half second off the lead car in that event.
From Melanoma at age 43.
He leaves a wife and young family.
