Just got news that a good friend died unexpectedly Saturday. He was a former co-worker who had been laid off recently. His girl friend, who unfortunately was also just laid off from the same company just last week found him dead Saturday. We had just had a going away party for her this past Friday.
Many fond memories of the times Joseph and I drove 10 hours to Yuma in my Sante Fe to do testing out in the the sticks. By all accounts, this was very unexpected.

I know how hard it must be to lose a friend... my condolences.
 
My condolences to you and to the family, Basil. Losing a loved one is never easy, and it sound like the situation there was already difficult.
 
Far too much of that going on these days. Love, light and prayers for your friends family and yours.
 
I am so very sad for what you must be feeling. Hold tight to your family and I know you will do what you can for the family he leaves behind.
