I received the following this afternoon from Mack Sneed of East Tennessee. I have asked that Mack/others update me as arrangements become available:

Rick,

You probably don't remember me but I am a member of the East Tennessee MG Drivers Club. We met at MG 2006.

I just got the word that Mark Whitt died last night. I don't have any details, as yet, but I thought you might like to know.

Mack Sneed

TO ALL MEMBERS OF ETMGDC,

I REGRET TO INFORM YOU BUT MARK WHITT DIED LAST NIGHT. HE WAS MORE THAN JUST A FRIEND-WE WERE THE BEST
OF FRIENDS. WE WERE LIKE BROTHERS. WHEN I FIND OUT MORE I WILL LET YOU KNOW.

SADLY
YOUR FRIEND,
JON WHITT

I know this is a little late but, for what its worth, I did not know Mark, but someone in France was a friend only via the forum and sent me an email with condolences.

Basil
