well did big drive today with my dad here in norway!! the mountains are spectacular. we drove up to Leka and back.
the new water pump seems happy and I dont see any leaks
Im still losing coolant and my oil pressure starts off normal then slowly dips and then hovers at 25 for the rest of the day
the oil level stayed steady at max all day and i did leave a small line of drips

so it might be the head gasket after all

started leaking exshast flange too but Ive dealt with that on all three midgets

Like I said early on. I think you do not have positive ventelation on your engine. Thus oil is allowed out it is not being sucked back. That assumes it is comming from the back of the engine.

Keep looking for a small pin hole in the coolant system only under pressure prob. Can be fixed with out pressure and a bit of JBweld on your finger.

My oil pressure starts out at 80psi when the car is cold and dips to 60psi at full throttle as it is hot at operating temperature. 25psi at idle when it's fully warmed up.

As long as you have 10+, you're fine.

I'd be more concerned if the oil pressure stayed at the same level even as the car warmed up. As for coolant leaks, just keep an eye on the oil to see if it is mixing. If not, the leak is external and there are only four main places to look for the leak: radiator, hoses, heater core, and water pump. If the water pump is new, that's my guess. I've had leaks several times immediately after changing pumps on cars. I make it a habit to coat the bolts and everything with RTV silicone sealant now when I'm installing water pumps. I coat both gasket surfaces with a thin film, and then all mating surfaces with a thin film, so there won't be any dry spots when I tighten it down.

ahhh I do have a pin hole in the tank Love JB weld
Im losing a little at the back where the heater core gose to the block under that brass fitting.
I did smear around alot of gasket seal I should have thought to do the bolts with them. I ran a nut down each bolt to clean it but that was it.

negive pressure right ...hmm ok Ill take a look at that crank case I realy thought that the water pump going was it but with that replaced its ruled out we have to dig deeper. thanks I have to get this car to holland in two weeks

ahhhhh
