When I bought my '75 TR6 it came with an uninstalled set of TRF sunvisors. I went ahead and installed them, throwing out the old, thoroughly beat original set.
Unfortunately after I threw the old ones away I discovered that these new ones droop terribly. :madder: Originally they'd fall all the way down in 30 sec to a minute. Pinching the sleeve inside the visor and wrapping the shaft with 3 or 4 kinds of tape (various experiments) have gotten them to stay up for about 3-5 minutes at a time.
If I had bought these I'd have simply returned them. I didn't, and I'm pretty well stuck with them unless I buy somebody else's set.
Is there some way I haven't tried to get these thing to stay up? The old set would hold over the windshield at 70 mph, deflecting the air! :confuse:
