Loose manifold to exhaust connection

My daughter ran over a speed bump too fast and now the front exhaust pipe is loose (I can easily wiggle it by hand) and leaking where it attaches to the manifold. It's been so long since I took that thing apart that I can't remember how it seals. Should I just try tightening the bolts up or is there some kind of sleeve or gasket that I should insert before doing that? I don't want to risk overtightening and breaking something (especially a stud).

If she hit the exhaust I'll bet it broke either the pipe or manifold. There is a gasket Moss sells for $2 each. Exhaust is nothing to fool with though because of where the carb is.
