The pins in the pedel box that connect the pedels to the linkage are held in place by what is called a bobby pin clip.

I need one, only one and have had no luck finding one, anyone have a source?

Jack

I have replaced mine with cotter pins.

If not at the local hardware store, then try local mower shop.

I've seen them at multiple places as well, so I thought maybe I wasn't understanding what he is looking for.

For just about anything like this McMaster-Carr is (not necessarily the cheapest but) the easiest place to find it.
They have a very easy to use on-line catalog and they take Visa, etc. They also deliver pretty fast.

Correct Bill, that is where those images are from, but he just needs one (not 50-200).
Sometimes a local Fastnal outlet is available too. You might see if there is one in your area.

You may have oval holes depending on the type bolt used.

The first clip you posted is the one. All good places to look and I will do so. Thanks guys, several places did not have though.

and the bolt trick is priceless.
