GT6 Looking to purchase GT6 Rust repair question?

Looking at a GT6 and it has some rust of course. How hard is repair rust in this above windshield? Please see picture.

I think(?) The windshield frame surround is a separate piece from the body, which might help. Not to be negative, but keeping it real as the kids say, usually if you can see that much rust there will be much more hidden, as our cars tend to rot from the inside out.

Glemon is correct that the windscreen frame is a separate part.

It has been a long time since I did bodywork on our GT6. Details escape me. However, I think the area shown in your photograph is comprised of a folded and arced seam cover and a layer of smoothed seam sealer. The rust may have started under the seam sealer. On most cars I wouldn't recommend this but with the very stiff roof and short windscreen of the GT6 you should be able to fix that with fiberglass... ideally applied from the inside if possible. Having said that, I don't know that I have ever seen a listing for that seam cover should you find it needs replacing.
 
Since it is early I watched the video w/o sound. What is shown in the video looks great and should be very helpful to someone dealing with that leading edge roof rot.
