Wedge Looking to buy TR7 - opinions please.

[ QUOTE ]
What kind of gas mileage do you get in a TR8?

[/ QUOTE ]When I bought my bone-stock TR8 last year, I picked it up in Texas and immediately drove it 850 miles to Denver in late June. For at least half the trip, I had the A/C on full blast (black convertible top) and averaged 26.8 MPG for the entire trip.

Since getting it to Colorado, I usually drive it to work at least once or twice a week if the weather permits. I average 19-21 MPG on a tank of premium gas in in-town, stop-&-go, commuter traffic.

Never having had a TR7, I don't know how that compares to the 4-cylinder cars or whether they also need premium gas.
