I wonder, I just wonder how many folks tune there tire pressure, different as car grows old or new agan and with tire brand and condition.

I wish I knew a way to do it properly, really makes a difference when you get it right.

These problems don't really have anything to do with weak or nonexistent sway-bars.
Start simple....
Tires (Pressure ?), alignment & bushings /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bars are for fine tuning a already OK handling car.
(Sounds like you actually have a problem)

I tinker with my tire pressure a lot. In a small light car it seems to make a huge difference. I always carry a portable inflator and a quality air gauge with me.
 
Off the mark a bit - however, when I have an MG's front end aligned, I always sit in the drivers seat while they do it....FWIW.

I'd have to go with the tires....but perhaps the pressure has something to do with it, but it sounds more like a sidewall problem. You might check the color. The proper color of sidewall can make a world of difference. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Anyhoo, as to the original issue, just on general principle, I wouldn't think a sway bar would make that much difference until you get to about eight tenths. In everyday driving, I would think the issue would lie elsewhere....unless Janel is driving like a...(want to be careful, reference Meatloaf Album here)....all the time.

Haven't really been too concerned with Binabox the past few days after the storms that roared through here Wednesday night. Just now in the process of moving my sister and brother-in-law back home.

Have driven Emma exclusively all week. I'll drive Binabox over the weekend and we'll start bit by bit.
 
I hope, Janel, that we've given you some food for thought on this thread....the difference in the BCF & other forums is that we don't necessarily pat somebody on the back & tell them they're doing good; nor do we chastize somebody for doing something a little off base....what we do is offer all the various bits of our wisdom and experience so a person can glean from them what is needed in their particular case.....we've not said don't go with a bigger sway bar, we've just said make sure that's what Binabox needs & have given you some things to look at as you make your decision.

(Oh, I'm pulling a stock sway bar setup off a '73 roadster today)
