Hello. I recently converted my 1971 Triumph TR-6 to the steel wheels, but do not have a SPARE. Looking for one steel wheel rim with or without the tire.

Thanks! John

hi randy-

No, I have had no luck with this at all. I am in CT. Would truly appreciate anything that we could arrange.

John

I've got a TR3 steel wheel you can have. I'm in CT (near Putnam).

Tom

I have one if you want to pick it up.
I'm in NY - Westchester.

Wow-- this forum is awesome! I have been fretting about this for weeks, driving around without a spare!! (and I have got 2 flats this summer with my OTHER car..)

Tom and Randy--- thanks! I think I'll go with the closest option for now, which looks to be Alana.

Alana-- you look to be the closest in Westchester. I work in Greenwich, CT -- if you want to send me an e-mail I am at delisaj@gcm.com.. name your price and we can work out details. Could pick it up after work one day this week. Does the wheel have the tire on it??

Thanks!

John

Paul-

You have to love it! What makes it truly amazing is that most of the world would think that this stuff is SO OBSCURE! But not here, it is front and center...

Truly awesome...

Hey!

Don't beat yourself up. It was a holiday weekend. Lots of people let their grey cells take a mini-vacation.;>

Paul-

Hey, no worries. Would have loved to stop up by the cape and have a bunch of experts look at my car and its funny clutch noise.-- and, although not a "garage queen" by any means, I could have shown off how I wired a 1970s AM/FM pushbutton radio with in IPOD, so I could listen to the Beatles..

Thanks for the offer, but with 5 kids, the best I can do with the TR6 this weekend will be driving it to the soccer game..

Just throwing this out there again, since i haven't heard from anyone in awhile.. Ebay has a few wheels listed for pickup in Iowa, which would be a far drive from Connecticut.

I recently converted my 1971 Triumph TR-6 to the steel wheels, but do not have a SPARE. Looking for one steel wheel rim with or without the tire.

I am at delisaj@gcm.com or please send me a PM. Name your price and please let me know the condition and if the wheel is with or without the tire.. we can work out details as I could pick it up after work one day soon.

This seems to be a surprisingly hard part to find, and I'd hate to keep pushing my luck driving without the spare.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help out..

John

John - maybe I missed something ... I offered you a TR3 steel wheel back on September 4.

Tom

Thanks-- I'll take it. wow-- you are a good two hour plus drive for me... lemme see when I can get out to see you.. anyone closer?

Didn't you say you decided to get AlanA's wheel? He's closest to you.
