I have a 73 GT6 project that I am working on with my son and the car came without the rear deck carpet.

Does anyone out there have a old rear deck black carpet piece they would be willing to sell me cheap that is in OK shape? If you do please PM me. Thanks Tom
 
I don't have a spare one but I'd be willing to trace the carpet piece that is over the rear deck on our Mk1. I don't know if it would be the right size/shape for your car. If the tracing seems right you could buy a carpet remnant and cut it to the template's shape.
 
the rear deck carpet would be a little different between a mkI and a '73, due to the different fuel filler location...
 
My old carpet disintgrated and I tossed it out. I have a new one I ordered from TRF sevral years ago, still in the box. But first, I have to replace those old, warped, shrunken and broken fibreboard panels, or there will be nothing to put the carpet on!
