Looking for early disk brake steering arms, BTA 648 and BTA 649

Charlie, sorry forgot to answer the rest of the question. I'm about 20mi East of NYC, no I don't work there but my wife has been on and off for the last 25yrs. We occasionally drive one of the cars into the city and tool around.

Kellysguy, If what you are asking is whether I tried to put the inner tie rods from a Spitfire rack on a Morris rack,I do not have a Spitfire rack to try that with. I only have the Morris rack that is in the car, and the Spitfire steering arms, which came with the swivel axles etc that I bought.

Kurt, Thank you. I am still trying to find out from the Ebay seller whether or not the arms they have are the kind I need, but if you have time to look that would be great.

Mike, you are a braver man than I. I lived in upper, upper Manhattan. Didn't have a car for 13 years and when I got one I never drove south of the George Washington Bridge. That is at 179th.

Kellysguy, you might be right, those are the later ones, that I already have.

BUT!! Here's good news. I heard from the seller of the arms that were previously described here as 'a no brainer' and they turned out to be the ones I was looking for.

I have made a deal with them so we can consider this a "CASE CLOSED!" :chuncky:

THANKS to everyone for your concern and responses.

I will let them know! British Masters finally got back to me, and they have a few sets too (pay attention Drew, you may need them someday :peaceful:.
