Looking for a Specific Distributor

so basically they all fit each other?

mark

Mark, many of the distributors will physically interchange. The major difference will be in the advance curve. If they are vacuum advance types, some have a threaded vacuum fitting, some are push on. Some have side entry caps, some are top loaders.

Thanks Jack! It will be handy tonite and when I get my new 43D4 next week. If anyone hasnt checked it out. Do so! Great info.

And you note you can copy the PDF file to your computer

Brian, be sure to let us know how the 43D4 works for you! Its a slight recurve from your stock distributor and should work great with your engine.
If you like the "teglerizer" site, check out my website at www.advanceddistributors.com - double click "links", and click on "Lucas distributor database." You'll need the magnifying glass tool at the top to read it, but there's a LOT of info there!

Hmm, your web page does not automaticly adjust to the size of the browzer being used ie the resolution.

If you know how to get in touch with Gerry Masterman - he can probably rebuild it for you.

Hi Jeff, do you have the 25D rebuild program up and running yet?.---Keoke

Dear Brian,

That's the way guy, just leave us hanging, sigh. Did it solve the problem, the new Dizzy? How does it drive now?

Sincerely

Jack

Boredom creeping up on you again Jack?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

I have to wait till next week to install the new dizzy. Unlike you retired folks, Jack, I have to work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Also, I'm taking the car up to Crystal Lake this weekend for a family gathering and hate to rush the job just after the car is puring. So, I have to wait till next week but am taking the new dizzy as a back-up.

BTW Jeff: Let me know what you schedule is for the next couple weeks. I can give your loaner dizzy, which works nicely back. But if you dont want it, I can babysit it on a permanent basis:smile:

Keep an eye out for Jason Voorhees while your up at the lake /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Yea, how soon we forget about haveing to work. Gesh, wonder how I ever had time to get anything done.

Don't throw that old one away - see if Gerry can rebuild it for you as a backup.
