<span style="font-weight: bold">But one that doesn't smoke.</span> I sold the Mini a couple days before Christmas and an looking for a new project car. I have to use some of the proceedes for business marketing because of the economy, so my criteria is more exact this time. I am flexible and as of now have isolated a 75 spitfire in good shape but needs interior, and a TR7 with a Buick V6 Johns conversion that I am considering. It also needs seats reupholstered and minimum work. This car owner also owns a TR8 and claims this car is faster.
Then I thought maybe someone on here knows of a great deal out there somewhere. Here is my criteria:
-Located within 500 Miles of Charleston South Carolina
-$3500 or so max.
-mechanically good, cosmetics I can handle, NO RUSTY CARS
-No Crypt cars, prefer southern cars
-I have been watching Jaxed.com, ebay, and others and am
ready to jump on the right car.
Anyone got any leads?
