Looking for a new toy!

Elliot, here's the difference: if you choose the round of golf and lunch, you don't have to own the course and rent the restaurant.

That's why I quit racing and shootin'. Lots of money for punching holes in paper and runnin' 'round in circles. I have discovered racing is a sport in which individuals compete to see who is the fastest at moving funds though a bank account.

What is it with you guys? Next it will be trains instead of cars and planes.

A friend of mine just showed me a picture of her husband's latest purchase....a plane...that he now has hanging from the ceiling in his man cave car museum. Before you ask...he collects American Iron (Chevy types) so he has a pretty big garage. They actually got the old thing running and drove it around before hanging it.

I actually think I am jealous that you are flying and getting a plane.....

Cheers,
Irene

Irene, When I see folks from Charleston and Point Pleasant South Carolina, it reminds me of the great times the wife and I had there! The B was shown at two shows, one in Charleston and the following year one in Point Pleasant. Won a couple trophies. Had a fantastic awards dinner on the Aircraft carrier North Carolina. Great folks there and would love to come back for a visit. We fell in love with Charleston. Went to Fort Sumter, you know, done the whole tour, done the market and rode in the buggies. Beautiful place with tons of history. PJ

You need to come back. Our car club show is in October when the weather is great. Lots of great LBC's and wonderful people. We even have a small airport here in Mount Pleasant you could fly into and I bet I could find a British car to taxi you and yours to your lodgings!

LBC folks do indeed seem to enjoy a good meal. The running joke of ours is BMCNO stands for Big Meal Club of New Orleans.

Don,
That weather day was your welcome to the "lowcountry" !
We did not want you to think too early that you died and went to heaven when you moved here.

Cheers,
Irene
