looking for a left front wire wheel hub

I managed to spin the left front wheel on the hub of my 73 B the other day, nearly broke down in tears. Anyway I'm looking for a new hub, obviously with good splines, and I was wondering if anyone out there had one for sale. If you do or if you know where I might find one at a reasonable cost I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

Aloha Keith,

You may want to check with Tony at

You need to consider the bad hub splines may have also damaged or rapidly worn the splines in the wheel. Damaged wheel splines can then wear the hub splines. A replacement wheel may also be needed.

Yep, got several excellent used ones...contact me off-bbs

It is generally recommended to not mate an old wheel and new spline, noe vice-versa. The worn side will ruin the other in no time. If you can find a matching used set of splines and wheels then that's a safe way to go although you need to inspect them carefully for wear. Buying a set of worn splines won't do much good when they need to be replaced again a couple years later!

FYI, Moss and British Wire Wheel both sell new splines and wheels.
