looking for a Jensen batch number for my 1958 BN6

Hey all,
Missing the body and batch plate on my 1958 BN6 but got the BMIHT certifcate so know the body number but not the batch number. If anyone has a BN6 or BN4 made around May 1958, let me know what it is so I can add to the body plate I am getting made. Realize it may not be completely correct with the way bodies were made at the Jensen works but a batch number from a BN4/BN6 made that Spring might be in right time frame. My body number is 464 and vin is BN6L964 and was made May 15 & 16 1958, ironically 53 years ago today !!!!

Mine was made on the 14th & 15th; OMG, I forgot my car's birthday!

Found them! Okay, I'm thinking a day later, good chance it's part of the same batch.

You didn't want no old BN4 batch # anyways!

You the man !!! Amazed at how close our two cars are in production date and car numbers ! Bodies for both probably shipped over from Jensen at same time !

The original hood latch recepticle has "437" stamped into it.

Replacement trunklid, so no number there.
 
Randy - do the 4 alum cockpit moulding pieces have the body # stamped on the inside as on the Longbridge BN4s?

I don't think so; I can never remember seeing them.

(C'mon, don't you think I'd have a picture...?)
 
Hello Randy,

For what it's worth, my 58 100-6 = BN4-L-0-56040, body (batch?)#4361 7818, serial 56053.
Haven't looked for the number tag refered-to above.
I've been told probably built in Jan 58.
