Looking for a Harley muffler

Kelly,

Friday morning's are painful around here as 3 different Garbage Trucks plus the recycle trucks go through our neighborhood. In spite of 3 fans and earplugs she hears Bugsy if I fire him up. I already know how to ruin a weekend. Don't need her mad at me and Bugsy. BTW, he'll be happy to wake up after being outside for 3 weeks and move back in the garage. If rains stop supposed to get up to 50 degrees here in Dayton tomorrow. Working from home tomorrow, I think Mr. Bugsy just might get to run some errands tomorrow.

Mine seems really quiet, especially for a straight exhast. Maybey it's an A series thing as I met a guy last night that had a 1275 w/ an old Spridget muffler and it sounded as loud as my 1500 with just an open pipe. No holes and it was supposed to sound that way.

Sporty ones appear a bit different than mine. The bullet ones like mine come off of a softail. I can't begin to say how much I like it. It's PERFECT !!!

To those of you who've gone from stock-ish exhaust/mufflers to less restrictive: did you have to change carb needles or adjust the carb mixture?

Less restrictive = leaner mixture, no? Is it significant with such a muffler change on a 1275?

I wish I would have thought about the harley muffler i have 18 gal fuel cell no room for muffler back there but I ride a Yamaha FZ1 they would probley fight in the driveway

Should be fun. Thought about the GM 3.1-3.4 swap. Thought about Ford 3.0 too. I have an extra car that I'll need to do "something" with one day. Keep us posted.

You'd have had to run both Harley mufflers on that.
