Looking for a Harley muffler

Hey everyone!

I figured while my car is down for rear suspension work, I'd go ahead and do some exhaust work as well. I called a few local places but couldn't track down a Harley muffler to replace the old stock one.

Does anyone have one around that they'd be willing to part with?

Thanks!

I dont have one but an idea maybe to talk with some people that have harleys, a lot that i have seen replace their pipes and then the stock one just sits around. My neighbor has a new ultra glide and he put different pipes on and the stock one just sits there, dont know wha the plans on doing with it but I would guess if you find someone that doesnt want it they will let it go.

Just an idea, good luck searching.

I would agree.... I got two of them for a case of Corona

:thirsty:

This one is the one I've found to work best in this shape. It was free by going out and talking to the parts guy at the big local Harley shop.

Is that the same one I sent you? I am very happy with mine. Folks say the car sounds great- but i can still hear myself think in the cockpit.

I had a buddy that worked on motorcycle all the time and he had many laying around. The best sounding exhaust was from a Hyabusa. I needed a custom pipe to install but the sound was unique.

Jeff: PM sent

Ed: Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep you posted!

If there's one extra, I wouldn't mind it. Lemme know who's got what left.

we've had sound comparisons posted before using youtube - I'd love to hear the Hyabusa

I have a couple lying around in the garage someplace if anyone is still looking...not show quality (may have a couple of scuffs or dings) but they work well!! I was even given a little Harley "badge" that will go back by the license plate above the muffler by my biker friends due to the Harley muffler!! They all love the car, call it a four-wheeled Harley and love that it is a 1275cc, wind-in-your-hair vehicle. I have gone on a few "runs" with them and usually run "caboose" to keep the SUVs from tailgating them!

Decided to go w/ Jeff's...

Thanks for your help everyone!

If you sent me one, that's it. Can't remember who did anymore. Sounds that good huh? Shoot, maybe I should keep it, oh well. I like my Monza too especially now that it fits decent.

I'll take one. How much you need for shipping to 39426?
