Looking at another Bugeye

The infection grows:
I am going to look at another Bugeye Monday, I have no Idea what condition. The car was advertized with two bonnets. one for the car another and another for...whatever.

I have been fighting for a year of making the long travel to look at the car, but decided I needed to get the thought out of my system.

I have Three now, one I am rebuilding, one that needs rebuilding, and another that is really bad shape I could't let see get scrapped. Plus my $500.00 Midget.

Anyhow I am going to look at the Bugeye and If I am not interested is anyone on this board interested, they are asking under $3k so I am assuming it is a starter car. If you are, and I don't want it, I can let you know condition once I view the Bugeye. But if it is a really good deal I will buy the car cause I am so weak

Luckily Spridgets are really small -- you can fit a whole bunch even in a small shed.

and more to the point, spridgets are like potato chips - you can't have just one.

As long as she never visits this forum, that is...

I've got my eyes out for a RHD Bugeye or Spridget for some day -- a nice match for the Tunebug maybe. I'm sure I can find room somewhere.

12 step program? step 1, buy a spridget, step 2, buy another spridget! step 3, you get the idea, step 4, build a bigger garage for more spridgets! it's an illness alright.

Hi There mightymidget,

If this car has been sitting for a year; I have to guess it needs quite a bit of work but ???

Where is it located?

Thanx, Russ

Russ from what I have heard is I just don't know. I just know it is a Bugeye, complete with two bonnets. Hopefully it has been kept outside under a cover or inside. Are you looking for another Bugeye?

Car is SE NC

ha, sounds like something I would do if only I had some place to hide it.. Although I technically don't even own a garage

You can hide them in backyard tents, We all know wives don't like tent camping, so they will never look inside tent and find your extra Bugeye

well I might have to marry her before daring to do so, would she ever decide to venture inside the tent if married there would be lesser chance of her leaving (oh, the things we do for spridgets) not the mention how to put up a tent in our campus apartment.

The stars are lining up. put delivery on "USHIP" for bids. Shipper going through there on Tuesday, great price, cheaper than I could buy gas returning with a rented trailer to pick up.

Trying to figure out if I can strap the extra bonnet to the top of my 94 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon for the 4 hour trip home

I'm surprised it doesn't fit in the rear of a Roadmaster.

Hadn't thought about that, a 4x8 sheet of ply wood will fit inside car, I have an extra bonnet in the garage. the height will be the problem. When the torrental rains stop I will check that out

I received this e-mail from seller a few minutes ago.

Looks like a no go...what is is with all the Bugeyes with no titles, sounds like car is outside also left in the elements also. It is very hard for me to get information from this guy and I see why now

"the car has no title. doubt that the tires are intact. no personal checks, cash only. Would need to move other cars around to get it to other side of building so you need to confirm a deal before I go through the hassle."

Oh, I seem to be missing the pictures.
