I have been looking for authentic straps for my hood and spare tire for my bugeye, and finally found them on Ebay.

Wow, nice find. Is it old or new?
 
Original style but the OEM's strap material was sort of a off white I believe. I have a set but after 50 something, not sure of the total original color.
 
Same guy I got mine from a few years ago. His olive green strap is spot on the original.
 
yep, straps with buckles are from the military surplus after WWII I was told. In fact the buckles give it away as military. Were OD for sure. Material Cotten.
