I have never seen one, but know they exist.

This is the 948 A series diesel used in tractors.
I'm not sure if they were ever used for marine applications.....maybe.

The block has "950D" cast in it.
I don't know if the block is much stronger than a normal 948.
I would guess that it is.

If I remember right, It was only about 14 HP or so. So 0-60 in a week would be optimistic...
 
They were also used as auxilary power units on the Centurian Tank.
