Longbridge BN4 interior inner wheelwells

I have been unable to determine if the vinyl that is applied to the rear wheelwells has any padding between the steel and the vinyl. This vinyl is only on the first series BN4's.

it does not appear to be padded?

Just to confirm, there was no padding under the vinyl on the rear quarter panels on the early Longbridge BN4.
