Tush ... I was going to send you that link, but I figured you'd already be all over it.

Tempting, but I don't think I want another project right now.

Cheers, Mike

Hey Mike,

Not sure how much he wants for it but, I have the 2 3A's already....to be honest with you, I am not sure if I would want it. I think that these being pretty rare now you almost need to become a "steward" of the car. My cars tend to reflect my tastes and I "modify" them to suit me. I think that with a long door TR2, I would need to try and restore it back to how it came from the factory. I would probably get tired of searching for parts (as John is doing at the moment) and would stray from the path and take the easy way by using later 3/3A/3B parts etc.....
Then again, what ever I did to it, it would certainly be better than it languishing in a storage container rusting away.....

Cheers
Tush

Marv is the guy...he buys anything he can get to Alabama.

I'd be curious to see what he's asking, but also afraid to know after all the work I've done!

Ah, it's so nice to know I'm not the only person who thinks that way! Of course, I'm in no position to be that steward, as much as I've always kinda wanted a long-door TR2.

Having said that....there was a really nice Short Door TR2 at British Car Day last weekend. Looked pretty cool with some custom wrap around aeroscreens installed, half tonneau zipped up with a retro racing helmet perched on top...

Cheers
Tush
