Locktabs on Main Bearing Bolts?

Just double checking before I put the oil pan on my 1275 engine that I've rebuilt. See in a picture there's locktabs on the main bearing bolts--that I didn't put it.

I used the APR bolts--do I still need locktabs?

Bruce, you certainly don't need them. I assume you used the ARP toque recommendations and procedures?
I throw away every one of the cussed things I find.

I agree. If the tab is soft enough to be bent around a nut or bolt head, it will be soft enough to squeeze down & reduce bolt tension. If a flat washer is needed, it should be of the hardened variety.
