locks and keys

I've got an early 70s Spridget parts car that I can't find the keys for. Trunk is locked; steering column is locked.
I figure I can either call a mobile locksmith or pull the column and take it to a locksmith. Any further suggestions?
Thanks
Doug

Thanks! Quit raining a bit ago so will take the car cover off (the poor old thing ain't a beauty, and a car cover makes it look less like abandoned junk on the driveway and more like a gently preserved classic) and see what I can find for identifiers etc.
