There's a neat little airport just a few miles from my house. Since I moved up here, I've noticed this blue twin-engined bomber parked there, and wondered what it was -- or if it was airworthy.

Well, this past weekend I saw it flying overhead! Very cool stuff. Today it was out again, and I decided to a little constructive googling and discovered that it is a Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon. A local chap has been restoring it, and has a nice little website up:

The videos were apparently shot this past weekend, so I'm assuming that this may have been it's maiden voyage since the restoration work. Makes working on my little Tunebug seem quite tame.
