Location for pull starter solenoid.

Planning on getting the car slowly back to standard and one of the first jobs is to remove the push button starter and go back to the correct pull cable.
Can someone show me an image or describe to me where on the firewall the pull starter solenoid is supposed to be mounted. Right hand drive car.

Thanks,
Mike

Should be a bracket welded to the heater shelf.
See this picture from Gerard's Web site:

Mike,
I'm converting to the pull starter on my Bugeye as well and my bracket is missing. Does anyone know if this is still available? It doesn't look to hard to make, but...
Rut

Here is a closeup of the bracket with the solenoid installed, if that helps.

Scott,
Thanks for the close up. Is that the tach cable to the right?
Rut

yes, here is a wider view. The tach cable bracket is easy to make.

Scott,
Thanks again, that's a beautiful job on your car and it's what I'm striving for. I can't wait to get there!
Thanks, Rut

Oh I wish my engine bay looked as nice. Thanks for the pics. Pretty sure my car is also missing that bracket.

Scott,
Would you do me a big favor and post the measurements of the bracket? I think it would be simple to reproduce from your picture and some measurements.
Thanks, Rut

I would be glad to measure it up, but mine may not be the best example, as I didn't have an original either. I looked at some photos and made a go at it. Maybe someone who has an original can chime it with dimensions. If not, I'll be glad to give it a go.
