I did not like how Miss Agatha steared. It seamed stiffish and constant input was needed.

Found that the toe in/out was way off. That is the only job on the car assembly that I did not do. Adjusting the toe.

Well I did it myself now like we do it at the race track with a peice of string and all is well. Drives like a different car. In fact it is a joy running down the road.

Jack, is the steering rack the same on a bugeye as on a midget? What I had happen was one of my end ball caps on the rack started unscrewing when I turned the tie rod arm, so I was not getting my toe right. I finally pulled the rubber boot back and found the problem and got everything locked down correctly and punch locked and the toe right. Yeah, I was toed out and had a shimmy in the car when I went over 45 mph.
 
Don't have a shimmy at all. Will keep a close eye on it and see if it changes at all.

Think all is well now, we will see.
