TR2/3/3A little caged nut headlights

You know that little caged nut that goes in the apron for the head lights. I have been looking on line with no luck and no one locally has the fine thread. I saw years ago where someone found them, any idea?

TRF has the cage nuts for the headlight mounting. Part number: CD24855 at a price of $2.48 each. If you need all six nuts it may be cheaper to buy the mounting kit that also includes new screws and washers: RFK1899 for $15.97 that will mount both headlights.

Years ago, I found some nylon inserts at FLAPS that worked well. They snap into the hole from the front, and then the screw expands them to lock in place.
In the "Help!" section, but I have no idea of the original application.
