Liquid from exhaust?!

I am a newbie and my car got just back from the garage. They adjusted the engine so it would run properly etc.

When I start my car (which goes quite fluently now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif) I hear some sputtering at the back. When I look at my exhaust there is some kind of liquid comming out of it. I am not sure what it is (too many other liquids on my hands at the moment) but is this normal!? What can it be?

Hi Dreas. Most likely you're just seeing condensed water vapor coming from the exhaust pipe. If you're just getting a few spurts and drips of water, I wouldn't worry about it. If it's not water (is it thick, is it not clear? does it have a color?), or if it's really gushing out like a leaky pipe, you've got a problem. My own 76 pops some water droplets from the exhaust now and then.

Ahh okay. It actually is water. Thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
