I've got two Dell laptops, both running exactly the same build of Fedora Linux 18. Both updated within the last week.
Regardless of which machine I use, if I watch a YouTube video that runs over five or six minutes, wireless connection drops to my router. Only way to re-connect is to reboot the laptop.
Seems the problem is "heavy use" of the wireless. Wired ethernet isn't affected if I'm hooked up with cable.
Any ideas on what's going on?
This has occurred regularly for the last six or seven months. One laptop uses Broadcom BCM4318 802.11g wireless controller. The other uses Broadcom BCM4306 802.11a/b/g wireless controller. Wireless router is Netgear WNR1000v3.
Thanks.
Tom
