Link to pictures of my first year of racing.

Hey Doug,

Great pics. looks like you had a lot of fun this year. I especially like the Boddington's blow-up in your pits. We only speak english in our pits as well.

Dougie

Doug, didn't fancy St. Louis this last weekend?
I'll keep an eye out for you at the MiDiv sessions next year, I'll be at most of them in some form or another.
Good pics...

Dougie,
I like your Healey! Hanging out with the big Healeys in 2007 at the Kohler Races was what got me started!

Baz,
What did I miss at St Louis and what is the MiDiv? SCCA?
My Bugeye has logbooks back to 1972, started as a SCCA car and ran mostly our west as far as I can tell. I am building a 1275 for it now as I don't get to run with but a car or 2 with the 948 in class.

As to the Boddingtons...
You know what they say, British cars leak their oil out the engine and Italian ones lose it through the tailpipe!

STL SCCA had a bonus regional.
~Info Here~
MiDiv is the SCCA Midwest Division, running most of the tracks you mentioned.
I'm hoping to have something up and running for next year, if I can afford novice driver school, so I may see you out there....

Great pictures! Thanks!

It's funny how so many of us do this silly stuff in different parts of the country.
And it's funny to see that old PV Volvo racing too. We have a few here in the east and I know Dougie has at least one out west too. The Ghost of '41 Fords lives!

I probably won't ever make it out to many of those mid-west tracks for vintage events, but I'm hoping to run my "modern" car in some NASA events at Mid-Ohio in the future.

Aeronca65t.
Thanks, your shots are fantastic too!
I think you hit it on the head. We are all over the country and most of us don't have the funds or time to do this full time, so we race around our base...but it is great to see these cars on tracks dicing and doing what they were meant to do!

I hope to get to a track or two on the East coast..I am trying to make time to hit Watkins Glen next year. I cannot get enough of the pictures and videos out there about vintage racing!
