So Guys and Gals:

Can anyone give a "simple" explaination of how to put a link to my rebuild photos on photobucket on here? How do I do it and where should I put it? Would putting it in my signature be appropriate? I'm not very technologically oriented

Gary - easy peasy. Two ways:

1. open the Photobucket image you want to link to. In other words, open it so you see if "full size" on your computer screen. Then put your mouse pointer over the image, right click and choose "Copy image location" (or whatever refers to image location). Now paste (control-V) that location into your BCF post. On the left side of that, put
. Voila!

2. on your Photobucket media page (where you see many of the pictures in small format), hover your mouse pointer over the picture you want to link. You'll see four choices drop down. Click the bottom one (IMG code). It'll copy automatically. Then just paste (control-V) that into your BCF post.

You can also try the BCF image help video:

Hope this helps.
Tom

If you go to your album, you'll see on the right hand side of the screen: "Share this album". Under that, go to "direct link". Left click onto it and it will show (very briefly) "copied". Now you may place it in your signature (it's certainly not inappropriate) by right clicking and then left clicking "paste". Hope this explanation was simple enough.

Thanks to both of you for explaining different ways to do it. If I do the link the way Jay said, will the whole album be there if someone cliks on the link? I would assume so.

Tom explained how to link a single photograph so that the photo actually appears in your post. Like this...

Jay's explains how to link a whole album. In that case it would be just a hot link just like you can see below Jay's "signature" in his post.

works perfectly! you're a braver man than I am Gary, great job!

Got it...AND I ~think~ it worked. Check it out on my signature and let me know...Thanks to everyone. This is why Carla and I have enjoyed this forum so much. We've received all the help we asked for since beginning this project.

you were too quick - yes, it works great and, it's a bigger project than I would have taken on. Congrats!

Thanks JP...it actually wasn't too bad as far as I went. I thought about labeling all the photos but just can't face that right now. They probably speak for themselves anyway.

Nice, Gary!

Thanks Doc...it's been a fun AND ongoing project. We really appreciate all of the help.
