Well, I've gone BCF member (DCTownsend) to BCF vendor (Plan B Illustration). Some of you may be familiar with my illustration work from the post on the TR3 cutaway. I also offer accurate reproductions of many British decals of the period.

Decals and Vintage Race Graphics
If you're looking for restoration quality decals or race graphics for your MG (including emissions decals from 1969-80), Triumph, Jaguar, Austin Healey, or Mini, all of my decals are printed on 3M ControlTac then micro-laminated for easy application and durability. I also stock period correct filter change and oil change decals to add a unique touch to your LBC. If I don't already have a decal in my inventory, I'm always happy to recreate what you need and I'm also new decals on a regular basis.

Limited Edition Prints
On the more "arty" end of things, I illustrate classic cutaways of many British sports cars. You can order custom prints, most of which include your choice of exterior/interior colors as well as numerous options so you can match the illustration to your ride. Custom prints include Jaguar E-Type Series 1, Jaguar Series 2, MGA Coupe, MGA Roadster, MG TD, Triumph TR2/TR3, and a very limited edition of the Briggs Cunningham #14 Le Mans Jaguar lightweight.

All of my illustrations are printed on acid-free, archival quality, giclee paper, are numbered and signed. They're available in two sizes— 12" x 24" or 18" x 36". Prices vary depending on the car and print size.

I also have a selection of in-stock prints (subject to prior sale) including MGA, MGB, and a few MGC illustrations.

I'm always adding new prints to the line (well, as fast as I can illustrate them) and my current drawing schedule includes the Triumph TR4 and 4A, Austin Healey 100s and 100M, Triumph TR250 and TR6, the rest of the 'big' Healeys, the XK Jaguars. The current schedule takes me well into 2015 and who knows what will be next.

Here's something I just completed for a customer. He asked for (and got) a few special touches—like the Monza exhaust. Nice looking ride.

Hello David,
I purchased one of your TR3 Prints a short while back and am very pleased with your work.
The drawing is being framed as I write.
Can you please supply a letter of authenticity for this image?
Cheers,

Steve C

Certainly. If you would be so kind as to shoot me the print number (bottom right next to my signature) I will be happy to authenticate. I'm assuming you would like it mailed to the delivery address you provided. Correct?

Thank you for the compliment. That Monza exhaust was a nice touch. Glad you're happy with the work.

Likewise I am very pleased with David's illustration of my TR4A with some personalized touches. I highly recommend his work if you'd like a high quality illustration of your car. David is accommodating to special requests as long as he can incorporate them into his work. Hope to meet him someday along the trail.

Sorry for the delay David.
My TR3 print is 12/50. Please use the Calgary address that you have on file. The framed print looks terrific!
Cheers,
Steve C.

Ditto on the favorable review - David has provided me with nicely customized prints for both my TR3A and TR4, I'm very pleased with them. Now to pester him to start working on his TR6 rendition - and pester myself to get my car on the road as well otherwise his drawing will need to include jackstands!

Jack stands are available...at a small additional cost. And an added benefit of the illustration is that none of my British cars leak any oil.

Hi David,

Please let me know when you have the "Oil Cap Decal" ready to buy.

Thanx, Russ

Hello David,
I just purchased through your store a print of my late fathers TR 4 optioned as he bought it. Although the car was totaled in a wreck in the 80's I thought it fitting to be able to see, remember and show others what his car looked like. I still have most of that car in parts when we rebuilt another earlier TR4 that I still have and own. Thank you for producing such a work of art that I plan to hang in my office.

I have a question regarding the center upper line drawing, are all the TR4 drawings showing a hard top or is there a soft/no top option?

Thank you again.
