Lime Rock Vintage Festival

This Labor Day I'll be racing my BJ8 at the Lime Rock Vintage Festival in Lakeville CT. I'm usually the only 6 cyl Healey there, but you can count on 4-5 100-4 cars. Its a great event, and if you enjoy watching older English cars race, you should be there. My Healey usually does pretty well (the triple webers and coil-overs help), and I'm usually in the same group as the Ferraris. Come to CT and watch.

Good luck to you!! :driving:

I go every year so I'll look for your car (color). It's such a great event...so many great cars and a fabulous setting in the Litchfield hills of northwestern CT. I think it would be terrific to align one of the Healey club annual gatherings with this event, not only for the races but the setting and scenic country roads of western New England.

Good luck!

The New England Region of the AHCA has had a space in Paddock B for more than 20 yrs. Unfortunately, I understand the track was unwilling to make a space available this year. Some of my happiest memories come from attending the LRP Vintage Festival, including crewing for a 100 during the Healey Challenge in 1990. I'd love to see Jon driving in anger

and if I can get the Nasty Boy finished by then, I'll try to make the trip out. Lime Rock Park is one of the prettiest tracks in the world in a beautiful area of the country. If you've never been ..... Go!

Jon -

Welcome to the BCF, you should also check out the racing forum as a lot of us who vintage Healeys hang there too. Limerock's on the bucket list but not this year. Richard Mayer (Boyracer) and I are planning to attend the Elkheart Lakes Fall Festival Races at Road America next year in Septemter https://www.vscda.org/races/elkhartLake.php. I'm trying to rally a few more west coast Healey racers to attend as well.

Good luck at Limerock while flying the Healey colors.

Hi Jon--

I'll be there in the Courier. I'm in group 5--Small Bore--which probably breaks at two liters, so I guess we won't be racing together. Rich Maloumian drives a fast 100 and it will be interesting watching you two go at it.

Seeya in a few weeks.
