lights never mind figured out

nevermind..checked out the members rides section.
saw the various ways to mount them... after all
this time this is the first time i've checked it
out.

Since I already started a reply, here it is:

There are a couple of ways to mount, depending on whether the lights are back mount or stem mount.

The stem mount can be mounted through holes in the apron, with or without reinforcing brackets under the apron, or mounted to brackets on a badge bar which needs to be added. They are done both ways & either seems to work. The badge bar doesn't require making extra holes in the apron & is most commonly used. If they are back mount the badge bar is needed.

glad you replied. have the apron for my car but didn't put it back on after restoration. probibly
a good reason to put it back on. now all i have to
do is paint it..bummer!!

Dave, I saw that beautiful red Healy at the Oct. meet. I must say it's one of the most perfect I've ever seen.

How long did it take to get in that condition?
 
The red Healey that is referenced belongs to our friend Michael Oritt of St. Leonard, MD. Member #157. I think he has been working on & driving it for quite a while.
