TR6 Lift Question

Is anyone using a BendPak HD9 to service or store their TR6? I'm just wondering whether the ramps on that model lift can be adjusted close enough to accommodate the track on a TR6. Based on my review of the specs it seems like it would be difficult. Thanks

At it narrowest the specs say it can be 37½" between the ramps. My lift (not Bend-Pak) is at 37" there and takes a TR4 with a bit more than an inch extra on each side.

Apparently Bend-Pak also has a narrow version which is the same spacing as the HD9 at its narrowest, but non-adjustable.

So 37½" should be fine -- you will need to be careful and consistent as you drive on but that is a time for paying attention to what you are doing in any case. Really pretty easy in a TR as you can lean left and see where the front tire is.

Here's a TR4A on a Direct Lift pp9 with 39" between ramps. Not difficult to drive onto.

I have an Bend-Pak HD-7P, 37 1/2" between ramps and mine fits OK. I put a piece of masking tape on the driver's side to guide me to center. Most of the tires are on the ramps but there is a slight overhang to the inside. Had mine for many years now without a problem, great company (Bend-Pak) and a quality product IMO.

Mine is not BendPak, but is 37.5 inches between ramps. The TR6 fits no problem at all, but the TR3 only has about half inch either side for clearance. I had an old mirror around the house and mounted it at an angle in front of the lift. I also painted the edges of the ramps white to make them easier to see. Now driving onto the lift even with the TR3 is an easy one person job. I can move the TR6 and take a "driving on" picture if it helps. Cheers, Mike
