Good stuff about life in Psalms, hard to improve upon it, really. :yesnod:

+1 - the older I get the more it makes sense.

That and "Breathe" from Pink Floyds "Dark Side of the Moon". Actually, all of of that album is statrting to make sense. Gotta dig Proverbs and Ecclesiastes is my new persoanl favorite.

"~All~ Is vanity", aint it the truth !!!!

You're all correct about getting old but to put it in its proper prospective, I'm just delighted to have the day and I thank God every morning. I also follow it up with "and please don't let me screw it up too badly."

I think the most noble thing a person can do is foster/mentor a child that's not their own. *THAT*, is a life well spent !

my morning prayer

Dear Lord,

So far today I've done all right. I haven't gossiped, haven't lost my temper, haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or overindulgent. I'm very thankful for that.

But in a few minutes, Lord, I'm going to get out of bed, and from then on I'm probably going to need a lot more help.

Amen
